Personality:
Hei Hei is a rooster, a very dumb rooster. Because of that, he's extremely oblivious and tends to get himself into trouble without even realizing it. Such as walking off boats and falling into the water. Seemingly going off of instinct more than any smarts that may or may not be there as he will mindlessly peck and swallow things. Including non-food items.
Despite having the IQ of a brick, this chicken does seem to show some amount of awareness to his surroundings. Such as when he found himself on Moana's boat and went into a panic when he realized they were surrounded by water and no longer on their island home. Calming down when his friend tried to soothe him. He also seemed to understand the importance of Te Fiti's heart and retrieved and returned it to Moana when she was about to lose it.
So while not the most ideal companion to have on your adventures, this little chicken isn't completely useless. He is friendly and docile, and even Moana thinks there is more to him than what can be seen. At the very least he is good to have around for a few laughs.
Powers/Abilities: None, unless you count his uncanny ability to show up just about anywhere and somehow manage to stay safe no matter what chaos is going on around him, aka dumb luck. Just the typical things comedic characters do.
